The Medical team at King Abdullah Medical City (KAMC) in Makkah has managed to conduct a successful precise radiotherapy to a lady in her thirtieth, who had been suffering from kidney cancer that spread into one part of the brain, the matter which made her condition deteriorated and prone to neurological complications. This precise radiotherapy is reckoned the first success in this respect among the MOH’s hospitals throughout the Western Region.
“Due to the difficulty of eradicating brain tumor surgically because of the bleeding associated with this type of surgery, a radiotherapy has been conducted to the patient which had been crowned with success, May Allah be praised,” the MOH pointed out, adding that the pathological condition has been observed to make sure of the absence of any complications after the operation.
It is worth mentioning that this type of radiotherapy is available only at limited specialized medical centers in the Kingdom.
